About Andrew Bridgeford
I am a lawyer and writer from the Island of Jersey. As a lawyer I am a consultant at Mourant Ozannes.
I also write and publish the Weekly Digest of Jersey Law and provide case summaries for the Jersey and
Guernsey Law Review, on whose editorial board I have had the honour of serving. During the spring of 2016 I was
a Senior Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Law at the University of Sussex.
My university education focused primarily on law and philosophy but I have also long had an
interest in history – in particular the Norman conquest of England and the origin and meaning of the Bayeux Tapestry.
The latter was the subject of my book 1066: The Hidden History of the Bayeux Tapestry which was published in British,
US and French editions.
